Senior Manager, Program Development and Partnership

World Education Services (WES) is a not-for-profit organization with over thirty years of experience evaluating international academic credentials. WES is committed to growth through the recognition of international credentials and immigrant settlement. The major purpose is to facilitate the integration of internationally educated individuals into the employment and education environment of their newly adopted country. www.wes.org

WES provides more than 200,000 academic evaluations each year, 100,000 of which are in Canada. These are accepted by thousands of academic institutions, employers, licensing and certification bodies and government agencies in the U.S. and Canada.

The Position

Located in Toronto, the Senior Manager, Program Development and Partnerships reports to the Director of WES Canada. Through an expanded role, the Senior Manager will develop new / enhance existing community engagement programs that, in partnership with other stakeholders, empower and support immigrants in advancing their career and educational goals in Canada. 

The Candidate

We seek an individual with post-graduate credentials in a discipline that aligns with the WES mission. He/she must be self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and team oriented with relevant experience in program and partnership development. Specifically we require:

Demonstrated commitment to the academic and labour market integration of immigrants and strongly networked with stakeholders in the community;

A blend of proven leadership, strategic and business management skills to plan, develop and implement new programs/initiatives;

Solid interpersonal and communication skills to interface effectively at all levels within WES; and,

The ability to foster and maintain high level relationships and collaborate with community agencies, licensing bodies, educational institutions and employers.
